Happiness is not a destination but a mood. If more people thought of it that way then maybe they would be happy more often.

Dreaming of Mexico

This is a photo from my trip to San Blas, Mexico. It was a wonderful
trip with lots of beach and warm weather to last me through the
winter. I was practicing my photography skills while I was there
because whenever I travel, I always take these quick photos which
don't really turn out well. I feel proud of this photo. I think it turned
out pretty well. Have you been on any trips recently?

Best "I do's"

Here is a clip from the movie "Rachel Getting Married" which is quite possibly my favourite movie moment of all time. The "I do's" are so creative and sweet. When I get married I am going to base my wedding on this movie. Even though the movie has a lot of hard moments, there is so much music and creativity going on that it leaves you with a feel good feeling at the end even though the movie itself is far from a feel good movie.

A Taste of Summer

Today I found some cherries on sale at the grocery. Cherries! Didn't realize they were in season in Canada lol. They made me so happy. They are one of my favourite fruits.

Remember This Song?

How good is this song? I was driving down the old country roads near my parents cottage in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and this song came on. I blared it and it put me in an instant good mood. It's kind of a summer song but it works in the winter especially when you are having the after Christmas winter blues. Enjoy.

A whimsical mood

How gorgeous is this piece? Its from the San Diego line "Q." Their jewelery channels a victorian meets retro nineteen fifties vibe. They have great nature pieces as well. Check it out: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jessyq?page=1
